British Army Bowman Radio Modular Rucksack Desert DPM Camo
This is a very rare infantry rucksack for the latest Bowman Manpack Radio.
Very few of these were made in Desert Dpm before the production switched to Multi Terrain Pattern.
These were trialled in Afghanistan.
The label inside reads" PRI BOWMAN MANPACK RADIO CARRIER DESERT DPM"
Made by PRI (Police Resources International) the military division of Karrimor in Devon.
It features airflow back and straps.
The waist-belt has loops to attatch MOLLE pouches.
The side has zips to attach PLCE Side Pouches/ Rocket Pouches, these zips also help compress the bag when not full.
There is a 25 litre rucksack compartment with sand/snow collar, this can be rapidly dumped/removed via 2 zips and 3 press studs.
This gives access to radio compartment with two pockets for the comms kit.
The whole thing is topped off with a removable, floating lid with its own pocket.
The lid extends on three fastex straps to secure rocket tubes mortars etc.
The pack is festooned with adjustment straps and loops to attach extra kit.
